Johannes Conrad Schauer

Johannes Conrad Schauer (1813-1848) was a botanist interested in Spermatophytes.[1] He was a professor of botany at the University of Greifswald.[2] Amongst his published works are descriptions of the myrtles of Western Australia.[2]

The standard author abbreviation Schauer is used to indicate this individual as the author when citing a botanical name.[3]
